The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) 2017

The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. It will provide nearly 100 secondary school teachers from Eurasia, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Western Hemisphere with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills, and increase their knowledge about the United States. The international participants will travel to the United States in Spring or Fall 2018 to participate in a six-week professional development program at a U.S. university.
The TEA Program is a six-week non-degree, non-credit, customized academic program; the program includes seminars on new teaching methodologies, curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional technology and a practicum in a U.S. secondary school.
The fellowship provides J-1 visa support, round-trip airfare to the United States, a welcome orientation in Washington, D.C., university training program, accident and sickness coverage, housing (generally shared with other program participants), meals, book allowance and the opportunity to apply for follow-on grants.

Each week will focus on one of these practices. Short video interviews with experienced teachers will be combined with classroom films from around the world to illustrate the main points.
Video tutors, Suzanne and Claire, will guide you through each week’s content, offering tips, advice and downloadable resources at every stage.
You will be asked to share your own experiences and opinions as you become part of a global community of English language teachers discussing what leads to success.
The course draws on the British Council’s many years of expertise in teacher training and development around the world. It will be useful for teachers of English at primary, secondary or higher levels.

Програма педагогічної майстерності та досягнень вчителів шкіл Євразії та Південної Азії (ТEA)
Програма педагогічної майстерності та досягнень вчителів шкіл Євразії та Південної Азії  (ТEA)  є програмою Бюро у справах освіти та культури Державного департаменту США. Програма надає унікальну можливість вчителям загальноосвітніх шкіл Євразії та Південної Азії поглибити компетентність у предметах, які вони викладають, покращити навички викладання, дізнатись більше про США. Учасники програми відвідають Сполучені Штати Америки весною та в осени 2017 року, щоб взяти участь у 6-тижневій програмі підвищення кваліфікації в одному з американських університетів.
Програма покриває візову підтримку (віза J-1), оплату подорожі з місць проживання учасників до приймаючого університету в США, університетську тренінгову програму, ознайомчу сесію у Вашингтоні, медичне страхування на випадок хвороби або нещасного випадку, невеличку стипендію, проживання (як правило разом з іншими учасниками програми) та харчування, книги, можливість взяти участь у конкурсі грантів для подальших програм в Україні.

ФЕСТИВАЛЬ-КОНКУРС "МІЙ КРАЩИЙ УРОК"

Фестиваль-конкурс “Мій кращий урок” проводиться з метою виявлення і підтримки інноваційних ідей, активізації творчого потенціалу педагогів у конструюванні та проведенні уроків, формування у них бажання вдосконалювати свою фахову майстерність.
Завдання:
-        пошук інноваційних форм, методів, змісту, моделей проведення сучасного уроку;
-        сприяння популяризації та впровадженню кращого досвіду організації пізнавальної діяльності школярів на уроках;
-        забезпечення незалежної експертної оцінки педагогічної діяльності вчителів.

Порядок  проведення:
Фестиваль-конкурс проводиться щорічно у два етапи:
І етап (заочний) – конкурс розробок уроків, які планується провести під час другого етапу,
ІІ етап(очний) – фестиваль-конкурс відкритих уроків, розробки яких відібрані у  І етапі.
Учасники фестивалю-конкурсу:
Учасниками фестивалю-конкурсу можуть бути будь-які педагогічні працівники (у тому числі члени адміністрації, сумісники тощо).
До участі у фестивалі-конкурсі максимально залучаються вчителі, керівники закладів, які атестуються на встановлення (підтвердження) вищої та 1 категорій, а також , педагогічних звань.
Умови та хід проведення фестивалю-конкурсу:
1.     Для участі у  фестивалі-конкурсі педагог подає  адміністрації закладу розробку власного кращого уроку та реєстраційну картку учасника, в якій вказує дату і час проведення, клас, тему уроку та інновації, які планує продемонструвати на уроці.
Адміністрація  подає в методкабінет розробки педагогів закладу та  узагальнену заявку. Педагог має право подати в методкабінет особисту заявку на участь у  фестивалі-конкурсі.
2.     Організовує проведення  фестивалю-конкурсу  методкабінет управління освіти.
3.     Оцінюють розробки уроків учасників І етапу  журі, склад яких формує керівник методичної комісії, на ІІ етапі методкабінет формує журі за напрямками (суспільно-гуманітарний, природничо-оздоровчий, технологічний, початкові класи тощо), які затверджуються наказом управління освіти. При оцінюванні уроків фестивалю-конкурсу журі може враховувати оцінки присутніх на уроці вчителів відповідного фаху з інших закладів.
4.     Учасники ІІ етапу фестивалю-конкурсу проводять свій кращий урок згідно графіка, який методкабінет складає ( на підставі поданих заявок і рішення журі І етапу) і надсилає у заклади
Визначення переможців і нагородження:
Організатори та журі фестивалю-конкурсу визначають  переможців серед учителів напрямку, враховуючи методичну якість підготовленої розробки та інноваційність проведеного уроку.
Переможці нагороджуються грамотами управління освіти та подарунками (або грошовими преміями).
Фінансування нагородження проводиться міським комітетом профспілки працівників освіти, спонсорами, управлінням освіти.
